Madison based public research university The University of Wiscosin has launched a Master’s program in Psychedelic studies. The institution is looking forward to admit its first class of this Master’s program under the school of pharmaceutical sciences.
Citing the institution’s announcement, the program will be fully learned online and it will help the students with intense and extensive knowledge in cannabinoids, psychoactive substances, entheogens and development and deployment of psychedelics.
The University says the psychedelic industry is one which bears great potential which can’t go untapped. The industry is expected to register annual growth rates of approximately 20% in the next 10 years.
It’s also expected by the year 2030 the psychedelic industry will have a market valuation of over $100 billion.
Industry data shows that significant investments are being made in the psychedelic industry since the beginning of the year. Learning and research institutions have also been making major strides in the sector.
