Oregon is on the verge of becoming the first State in the United States to legalize therapeutic use of psychedelic mushrooms in licensed facilities under the guidance of professionally trained personnel to oversee psychedelic activities.

The governor of Oregon Cate Brown, says she initially had reservations about the idea but if psychedelics mushrooms can help individuals suffering from depression, PTS and other conditions then it will be a worthy cause.

Like Many, I was initially skeptical when I first heard of measure 109. But if we can help people suffering from PTSD, depression, trauma and addiction including cancer patients and others, supervised psilocybin is a treatment worth of further consideration,” said the governor.

The governor says in the last 25 years, Oregon has always been a pioneer state and a hot bed of innovations around drug policies. “This will be the next contribution in that history,” added the governor.
