Canada based pharmaceutical medical practice company CannMart Inc. announced having submitted an application for controlled drugs and substances dealer’s license for future storage and distribution of controlled substances including MDMA, Ketamine, DMT, psilocin and psilocybin in Canada.

CannMart is a wholly-owned subsidiary of online retail platform for cannabis and wellness products Namaste Technologies Inc. (CVE: N) (OTCMKTS: NXTTF). Namaste said this license will enable them sell the listed controlled substances to approved persons, companies doing clinical trials, compounding pharmacies and researchers.

This license application was announced by the chief executive officer of Namaste, Meni Morim. “We are excited to have finalized and submitted this application. Societal acceptance and scientific discovery of new paths to wellness is rapidly increasing,” said Morim.

The CEO said that the company expects to be granted the health Canada approval by the beginning of fiscal third quarter next year.

Namaste is well versed in the distribution of controlled substances and looks forward to being a responsible leader in creating new paths to wellness,” added the CEO.
