Jamaica is set to go down on record as the first country in the world to have a legal functional psychedelic mushroom shop.
Canada based psychedelics company Silo Wellness Inc. (CSE: SILO) announced that it will be launching a magic mushroom retail shop in Jamaica. Silo Wellness will be embarking on this project in collaboration with mushroom company Musche Inc.
Musche Inc. is also based in Canada the company says it joined hands with Silo Wellness on this project so as to have a larger psychedelics market share in Jamaica which is coming out as a leader in the psychedelic mushroom movement.
Silo Wellness through it CEO, Douglas K. Gordon, says consumers are increasingly incorporating mushroom in their wellness routines and this goes hand-in-hand with the company’s goal of expanding their output capacity of mushroom-based products.
“We continue to invest in and expand our operations in Jamaica, the only country where the cultivation, extraction, and sale of psilocybin mushrooms is permissible. Consumers are increasingly interested in incorporating mushrooms into their wellness routines. Through our propagation operations, psychedelic wellness retreats, and upcoming retail location, it’s our aim to make mushroom-based products, experiences, and education accessible at a time when so many people are struggling with mental health and other issues,” said the CEO.
The companies are setting a smart shop in Jamaica which will be housing psychoactive mushroom products such as tinctures, capsules, topicals, and edibles, as well as boutique literature and accessories.
Musche says the smart shop will be offering Jamaica residents and tourists with a wide-ranging health and wellness benefits of functional and psychedelic mushrooms all in one stop.
