The family of the late reggae legend Bob Marley announced the launch of a psychedelic mushroom products line which is slated for a later date this year. The family has partnered with psychedelic therapy company Silo Wellness Inc. (CNSX: SILO) on this project.
According to the family, these psychedelics will only be distributed in legal markets. This will go down as the first ever celebrity psychedelic mushroom line.
This announcement was made by the widow of the late reggae legend, Rita Marley. She said the line will be named Marley One and it will premiere with non-psychoactive mushroom wellness products.
“When Bob and I were young we followed a strict, natural diet and we would include medicinal mushrooms. Mushrooms fit with our vision of a world transformed for good through natural products. We know Bob would be proud of what we’re building. Our family has always revered the ancient history and transformative potential of nature’s gifts,” said Rita Marley.
Bob and Rita’s daughter, Cedella Marley, said this move was is a much needed one as we are living in transformative times.
“Our family seeks to use our platform to help facilitate positive change. Mushrooms have been used for centuries, and we believe they offer a natural pathway for healing and positivity. It’s our wish that these products will empower people to experience oneness with nature and the universe at large, and ultimately achieve greater self-actualization,” added Cadella.
