Mushroom wellness company delivering organic mushroom extracts Eversio Wellness Ltd has harvested its first batch of legal psychoactive mushroom under Controlled Substances Dealer’s License issued by Health Canada.
The psychoactive mushrooms comprises of mushrooms which produce psilocybin among other psychoactive compounds, such mushrooms are commonly referred to as magic mushrooms.
Psychedelics companies have been using psilocybin to run clinical trials and researches which are aimed at finding out the potential benefits in mental health space like treating conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PSDT), brain health, addiction, anxiety, and depression among others.

Around two months ago, Eversio was granted a regulatory approval by Health Canada to produce psilocybin for research and development activities like clinical trials and medical studies.
The approval also allows the company to supply prescription controlled substances to patients who need them however this will be done in partnership with health care providers.
