Mental health care company focusing on providing proprietary therapeutic services centered around psychedelics Numinus Wellness Inc. (CVE: NUMI) (OTCMKTS: LKYSF) announced having successfully completed the acquisition of  the  Neurology Centre of Toronto (NCT).

NCT is a leading provider of clinical neurologic care based in Toronto founded in 2017 by Dr. Evan Lewis. Going forward, NCT will operate as the ‘Neurology Centre of Toronto by Numinus’ while Dr. Lewis will continue serving as the managing director.

NCT by Numinus represents an important paradigm shift in neurologic care. By accounting for both medical and psychological needs while incorporating innovative psychedelic-assisted therapies, we aim to help patients improve their overall quality of life in an integrated and sustainable way,” said Dr. Lewis.

The chief executive and chairman of Numimus, Payton Nyquvest, says that the acquisition is a strategic one as it will help the company increase its patient and revenue base while increasing access for communities in need.

With neurologic care in the Numinus portfolio, we continue to thoughtfully grow our patient and revenue base while increasing access for communities in need. We are excited to further expand our services as pioneers of psychedelic medicine and transformative mental health care,” said the CEO.
